Light Show brings together sculptures and artworks that use light in different ways. The exhibition showcases artworks created since the 1960s. Evelyn Glennie is the first person in musical history to successfully create and sustain a full-time career as a solo percussionist and perfomed at the Olympic opening ceremony. In this narrated slideshow for sinfini music, Evelyn talks about and then demonstrates several of her most unusual and remarkable instruments.

The Rest Is Noise festival is one of Southbank Centre's most ambitious classical music undertakings to date -- a year-long series of concerts and events bringing to life Alex Ross's widely respected survey of 20th century music, The Rest Is Noise.
This trailer for the year-long festival was constructed with footage from 100 years of the 20th Century, including the Wright Brothers first powered flight, the death of suffragette Emily Davison, the Titanic, Albert Einstein, Hitler, Stalin and Lenin, the bomb, the counter-cultural movements of the 60s, Stockhausen, Reich and Eno, Reagan, Gorbachev and Bush, the dawn of computing, Benizir Buhutto, Aung San Suu Kyi, Bill Clinton and Nelson Mandela.
